Reducing Street Lighting Costs through Innovation

In this day and age there will not be a single local authority unaffected by the economic crisis afflicting the country. However, all authorities are charged with providing a quality service to their stakeholders whilst discharging a range of duties from safety to safeguarding the environment. Squaring the circle against this backdrop may seem an impossible task and each authority must strive to achieve this based on local considerations. The following is an expanded version of a report prepared for Central Bedfordshire Council by Amey and details eight proposals for tackling the key issues.
