Durham Creates its New Profile... with Light

The lighting design competition to re-light both Durham Cathedral and Castle was launched in this magazine back in 2009 (LJ, August 2009, p. 14) and attracted around 25 expressions of interest from a variety of lighting companies. The current design is around 30 years old and generally relies on large projectors to illuminate the various elevations.
