Pick of Britain's Best?

For the last two years, the Design Council has been searching for one thousand of the best and most innovative products and services in the UK, to join its Millennium Products collection. Lighting Journal presents a survey of some of the lighting products selected. There are no lamps of course, as there are no national UK lamp makers any more - so no CDM-T or T5, both of which would deserve a place in the last decade's 'top ten' of lighting innovations. However the 20 lighting or lighting-related products chosen for the Millennium Products collection do include some interesting new ideas, several of which have yet to find a mass manufacturer.
