Defining the geometry of a carbonate reservoir using VSP in a directional well: A case history from Pampo Field in Brazil's Campos Basin

The Albian carbonate Pampo Field, in Campos Basin, is 80 km offshore Brazil in water depths of 100 m. It was discovered in 1978 and began production in 1980. Maximum production was reached in 1986, after which it started declining, and production of borehole water increased.
