Biological effects of electromagnetic fields

It is our pleasure to thank Dr. Peter Kevan and the Editorial Board for the opportunity to published selected presentations from the Fourth International Workshop "Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields" which took place in the Greek Island of Crete in October 2006.rnIn October 2000 one of us (PK) had organized Millennium Workshop on Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields". Since that, every other year with the help of remarkable secretary Ketty Apostolou three more Workshops took place. This join venture of the Greek National Research Center Demokritos and University of Ioanina attracted any time more than 200 scientists from all over the world. Recognizing the importance of this meeting to bring together young scientists from the Mediterranean area, Eastern Europe and Middle East, the Bioelectro-magnetics Society offered a support to the Organizers.
