The pursuit of economical efficiency based on mass production and mass sales driven by the industry-oriented society is coming to an end. The tendency toward small-lot production of a wide variety of products starting in 1995 is accelerated, exposing the distribution industry to the tide of realignments. The value of good sellers and poor sellers has been destroyed, and many wastes would be ac- cumulated without answering the needs of individual customers rather than consumers to merit customers' satisfaction.
