2007 SIR BERNARD CROSSLAND SYMPOSIUM SHOWCASES EXCELLENCE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING RESEARCH

The 10th annual Sir Bernard Crossland Symposium, organised jointly by Engineers Ireland and the Council of Professors of Mechanical Engineering, took place at NUIG, Galway recently. The Symposium, as ever, was a showcase for excellence in engineering research and this article provides an overview of some of the main research projects undertaken over the past year with the support of the Sir Bernard Crossland Bursary.
