Eoin Bambury, originally from Navan, Co. AAeath, is a principal engineer with Crospon Ltd. Galway. Eoin graduated from Dublin City University in 2000 with a BEng. (First Class Honours) in Mechatronics Engineering. He joined Caradyne Ltd. in Galway after graduation. In 2004, he was awarded an AASc. in Bioengineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Limerick. He transferred to Respironics Inc. California, USA after they acquired Caradyne in 2004. Returning to Ireland in 2006, he joined Crospon where he works in the R&D group ongastro-intestinalholloworganfunctionalimagingandtransdermal drug delivery applications. Eoin has contributed to the development of five electronic medical devices currently on the market and is a named author on six patent filings.
