Precast Banagher Concrete Ltd were appointed sub contractor for the supply of all elements to the podium construction. The company's planning for this project began in August 2006. After demolition, this was a crucial part of the enabling works for the main phase of construction. A time-sensitive build taking place over one weekend (October Bank Holiday 2007), this rail corridor when completed left a protected tunnel above the DART line allowing construction works to progress without interruption. It consisted of 32 columns, 48 beams and 41 double T units.
