Although testing results "look good" to date on the ability of vehicles to handle higher levels of ethanol in motor fuel, the Environmental Protection Agency said Friday it again will delay a decision on lifting the regulatory limit on ethanol blended into gasoline from 10 percent to 15 percent, saying more testing is needed and will not be completed until the end of September.rnWith the ethanol industry pressing for an EPA answer to its March 2009 request to allow ethanol blends up to 15 percent (E15), EPA said in an unattributed statement the Energy Department "is on track to complete testing designed to determine the impact of higher ethanol blends on vehicles built after 2007 by the end of September.
