In a key cyber-security appointment, the National Nuclear Security Administration has named Robert Osborn, an information technology and computer manager at an Air Force base in Illinois, as the new chief information officer for the semi-autonomous Energy Department weap- ons agency. Osborn will be responsible for cyber-security and information management across NNSA, which has had hacker breaches in the past and must protect huge troves of highly sensitive weapons and classified data across DOE's nuclear weapons complex.
