MPs give mixed message on green economy

The three main parties' annual conferences have shown differences over key environmental issues. The 2012 round of party conferences deliv ered a mixed message on environment, energy and climate. Key fault lines were over aviation capacity growth, decarbonisa tion of electricity, growth of gas-fired power stations, shale gas, planning red-tape and road development.
