The government wants businesses that claim the renewable heat incentive to meet energy efficiency standards. It had previously rejected such a requirement. Businesses and public sector bodies that want to claim renewable heat subsi dies could soon have to meet minimum energy efficiency requirements, the energy and climate department (DECC) has announced.
