Indoor air is an “underestimated and potentially important” source of exposure to harmfulpolyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), particularly for children, according to a new study.The findings, published by the University of Rhode Island and Green Science Policy Institute, provide worryingevidence for a third way humans are at risk of exposure to PFAS, with food and water already known to be majorsources, according to the study’s authors.
