Firm pays out £30,000 enforcement undertaking for sludge spreading

The enforcement undertaking was agreed with the EA after Sanderson Environmental Ltd was found to havebreached conditions of its environmental permits for two fields at Highwood Farm, near Doncaster, under theEnvironmental Permitting (England & Wales) Regulations 2016, the regulator said in a statement last week.The company, which operated on but does not own the land, paid costs of £8,137.36 and made a donation of£30,000 to the Land Trust, a charity which works to improve former coalfield sites across Yorkshire, the regulatorsaid.
