ECHA sets out registration requirements for 2018

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has warned that firms sharing data ahead of the REACH Regulation's upcoming substance registration deadline must do so on a not-for-profit basis. A representative of chemical industry peer support organisation the Chemical Regulations Self-Help Group agreed that some firms have "misunderstood" the rules, so when they hold data they see it as an asset, whereas costs should be kept as low as possible.
