ORG opens second D&I canmaking plant

The second two-piece aluminium beverage can plant of China's ORG Packaging started shipping cans at the end of July. Based in Guangzhou with capacity to make 700 million cans a year, the project follows the opening of ORG's first D&I beverage can plant in April 2012 in Shangyu, Zhejiang province, to supply cans to local brewers and soft drinks producers such as Coca-Cola and PepsiCo.
