Ball Corporation said that excellent operating performance and strong demand for speciality beverage cans and bottles in North America and Brazil, partially offset increased manufacturing costs in 2012.Commenting on the company's annual results, chief executive John Hayes said: "Contributions from our growth investments, excellent execution by our operations and strategic actions taken to align our supply with market demand led to Ball's improved results."
