Ball's plant in Serbia exports to Libya

The Ball Packaging Europe (BPE) canmaking plant in Serbia has started shipments of aluminium beverage cans to Libya. The country was previously supplied from BPE's La Ciotat plant in the south of France.Some 180 million beverage cans and ends are expected to be shipped to Libya in 2013, using 1,400 containers.In 2012, exports from the plant at Zemun, near Belgrade, grew by 40 percent year-on-year with a further increase expected for 2013, the company said at a recent working breakfast with local journalists.
