The FC06 can seamer is an expansion of Ferrum's ferruCompact line, the FC06 can seamer is aimed at medium-sized breweries as well as drinks bottlers. The machine is said by the Swiss company to be ideal for seaming cans of mixed alcoholic beverages, beer and soft drinks. Ferrum has simplified the machine's operation with a quick-change system for tools. Hygiene levels are improved with an inclined base plate, exterior O-rings and angled surfaces. With six seaming turrets, the machine has a production speed of between 15,000 to 45,000 cans per hour and handles packages with diameters from 50-100mm and heights of 88-250mm. An automatic and closed-loop oil lubrication system is built-in which enables a non-stop 24-hour operation.
