Deep in the Hertfordshire countryside, close to Much Hadham, is Perry Green, the small village where the sculptor Henry Moore made his home from the 1940s until his death in 1986. While his house remains in the hands of his family, its associated buildings - studios, barns and smaller dwellings -are now the headquarters of the Henry Moore Foundation, the charitable organisation set up by the sculptor to promote his own work and a wider appreciation of the fine arts in general.
