A new plan has been revealed to replace the Euston Arch, demolished in the 1960s. The Euston Arch Trust has prepared a design (pictured) with engineer Alan Baxter to show how the arch can accommodate 21 st-century requirements, including a nightclub and banquet hall, while retaining its original appearance.rnFoster + Partners has joined a consortium to investigate building technologies that could be used for space exploration. The practice -which in 2007 designed the Virgin Galactic Spaceport in New Mexico - will look at lunar materials and how they could be used for the construction of a Moon base that would launch a mission to Mars.
