Swindon is known primarily for its railway past, as the site of the repair works for Isambard Kingdom Brunei's Great Western Railway. Today, the Wiltshire town is more notable for its unavoidable one-way traffic system, which at one junction circumnavigates a five-point roundabout, known locally as the 'magic roundabout'.
