With 246 qualified architects among its total staff of 3,939, the Capita Symonds juggernaut, which acquired Percy Thomas Architects in 2004, has edged its way up one place to the AJ100 number three spot. The practice has 23 offices in the UK and eight overseas, in Poland, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Equatorial Guinea, Abu Dhabi and India. The firm is now making extensive use of BIM, taking advantage of its multi-disciplinary skills and studio culture.
