Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) joins the AJ100 this year, making its debut in the top 10. Working at the forefront of the industry, completing high-profile projects around the world. ZHA designs and directs projects across the globe from its London headquarters. This year saw the completion of the Guangzhou Opera House - a success that has led to further work across China and South-east Asia. Although some projects in the Middle East remain under review, the practice has over two decades of experience in the region and recently completed the 842 metre-long Sheikh Zayed Bridge in Abu Dhabi. The coming year will see seven projects completing around the world, in Baku, Montpellier, Taipei, East Lansing, Salerno, Beijing and Seoul.
