RIBA mulls 'test of time' award

More than 160 people came to hear a review of this year's RIBA Awards, followed by a Q&A session in the RIBA's Jarvis Memorial Hall. Hosted by Paul Finch last Tuesday, the second British Architecture Now event, organised by the AJ and Sapa Building System, brought together some of the country's most respected architectural figures at the institute's Portland Place headquarters. The award-winning projects were discussed by type and a number of trends were identified, including the lack of one-off homes and the snobbery that workplace schemes face from jurors.
