The greatest prize of all (never mind the RIBA Awards)

Forget the many architectural awards and acclaim that have been bestowed on the Shard. Its greatest achievement surely came last week in the Great Comic Relief Bake Off, when it walked away with first and second prize, sort of. Irvine Sellar, who led the development of the iconic building, told Metropolis he was delighted the two top bakers had created a homage to the Shard. We're not sure he would have been quite so pleased had he actually seen their creations.
