Corb and Keeler

News that French architect and academic Jean-Louis Cohen is curating the forthcoming Le Corbusier show at MoMA in New York (9 June to 23 September) brings to mind how a billet-doux, allegedly from Christine Keeler to the 'Picasso of architecture', first came to light. Irena Murray, Sir Banister Fletcher Librarian at the RIBA, was tipped off about it by Cohen and she found it in the archives at the Fondation Le Corbusier in Paris. Corb had written on it 'confidential' and various other comments relating to Britain, and to Keeler.
