English Heritage looks set to toughen up its planning advice on designing tall buildings, its London planning and conservation director Nigel Barker has said. The organisation, with Design Council Cabe, has recently completed a consultation on revising the guidance the two organisations published in 2007. Barker said: 'Over the past few years the guidance is not being adhered to as we'd hoped.'
