The most obvious fact about Allies and Morrison's performance during 2015 is that it was the busiest year in the practice's history. The fee value of completed projects was £35.3 million, with an additional £11 million in fees for projects won last year. There are 100 ive schemes passing through 85 Southwark Street; there is a resurgence in certain design sectors that were previously relatively static; and the practice has won a major commission in New York, on which it cannot yet elaborate. The range of project types and scales has continued to widen, and in-house research is beginning to produce practical outcomes. 'On the one hand,' explains Graham Morrison, 'we're doing this huge master plan for a town of 100,000 i n Muscat, Oman, and at the other end of the scale we're design ing furniture and making things-a return to the tiny domestic level where we started.'
