Queen's University Belfast is looking for an architect to design a £25 million integrated student centre. The winning architect-led design team will draw up plans for an 11,000m~2 hub combining all of the university's support, advice, developmental and commercial services for students. Located opposite the university's 1849 Lanyon Building, the current Students Union was constructed in 1967 on the site of a former residential block. It was originally designed for6,000 students, but the union now has more than 24,000 members.
