Feilden Fowles has won planning permission for its £8.2 million dining hall "for Homerton College, Cambridge. The London-based practice beat 154 rival bids to win a2017 competition forthe 1,750m2 project, which will be built nextto the college's Grade ll-listed Arts and Crafts Ibberson Building. The approval of the 330-seat hall caps off a good month for Feilden Fowles, which last week scooped an RIBA Stirling Prize nomination for the Weston, its visitor centre for the Yorkshire Sculpture Park (see page 6).
