First look at shortlisted designs for Adelaide Contemporary Images have been released of designs by the six shortlisted teams in the international contest to create a £150 million contemporary art gallery in Adelaide. Concepts for the 15,000m2 Adelaide Contemporary include visions by Adjaye Associates and David Chipperf ield Architects. The UK practices are up against BIG, New York's Diller Scofidio + Rentro, Melbourne's Hassell and Japan's Ryue Nishizawa in the two-stage competition, organised by Malcolm Reading Consultants.
