Hydrological-hydrochemical studies performed onboard R/V Akademik Fedorov during the 53th Russian Antarctic Expedition

The Southern Ocean structure and water circulation was studied, the position and parameters of the main fronts were determined, and the water structure in the regions of the shelf and continental slope in the Amundsen Sea (the Pacific sector of the Southern Ocean) was analyzed in the scope of the International Polar Year (IPY) during the 53th Russian Antarctic Expedition onboard the R/V Akademik Fedorov.
