FESI, the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry, has announced its pleasure regarding the launch of negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the European Union and Vietnam. The sporting goods industry sources athletic footwear and active apparel as well accessories in Vietnam. The successful conclusion of an FTA would allow the sector to expand and develop production in Vietnam while maintaining prominent value-added elements like design, distribution and marketing in the EU.
