Tommy Hilfiger to open 15 stores across India

Tommy Hilfiger, the international designer brand that is marketed in India by Arvind Murjani Brand Pvt. Ltd., plans to set up 15 stores across the country by the end of this year.rn"We manage a 50 : 50 ratio between our flagship stores and our stores that are in major multi-brand retailers like Shopper's stop, Lifestyle and Central. We plan to maintain this ratio when we set up the next 15 stores," Tommy Hilfiger Apparel India's CEO Shailesh Chaturvedi said.rnThe Rs. 3,000-crores premium segment fashion industry in India is growing between 20 and 25 per cent. Tommy Hilfiger, one of the premium brands in the business, is the only brand in the segment to have presence in Tier-II cities. But the company has decided that it would not ramp up its operations in Tier-II cities in the near future.
