Gucci Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

The Italian mega-fashion house Gucci launched its Spring/Summer collection for 2012, predicting the direction fashion is going to take for the coming year. The main inspiration is the Art Deco movement of the 1920's and '30s. The pieces showcased in the collection carried hard lines and metallic colours to mimic the architecture of the period. Chromatic prints, jewel details and flapper-style dresses made the runway into one big party.
