DESIGN DEVELOPMENT AND ACCEPTABILITY OF FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCT

A key priority for women and girls is to have the necessary menstrual material to manage menstruation hygienicaUy. Many feminine hygiene products are available in market but affordability is an issue for those belonging to poor strata. Study was designed to accomplish the need of adequate menstrual material with in affordable prices. Low cost reusable sanitary napkin was designed and its acceptability was assessed among rural adolescent girls.
