摘要

Polyrotaxane fibers prepared with wetnspinning of polyrotaxane consisting of poly(ethylenenglycol) and cyclodextrins were cross-linkednwith two different cross-linking reagents, i.e., divinylnsulfone (DVS) and ethylene glycol diglycidylnether (EGDE), to improve the tensile propertiesnof the fibers. By cross-linking with DVS, the valuesnfor the tenacity at break and the initial modulusnwere increased with cross-linking time, whilenthe elongation at break was improved only moderately.nOn the other hand, drastic improvementsnin elongation at break were observed after EGDEncross-linking, up to 645% of its original length,nalthough the tenacity at break and the initial modulusnshowed only slight improvements. After crosslinking,nonly minor changes in the degree of crystallinitynof the fibers were observed by wide-anglenX-ray scattering measurements.
