WBFs: healthy growth rates - but fiercer competition

A relatively young textile sector, and one which promises to grow by the Millennium to around 45 million linear metres a year, is the subject of a new consultancy report. D & K Consulting, of Geneva, Switzerland has recently carried out a multi-client study entitled 'Recent and future trends for high-performance fabrics providing breathability and water/wind-proofness'. Covering the West European market in the years 1992 to 1996, and looking ahead to the year 2000, the report was compiled by D & K between November 1996 and July 1997.
