Santex Group, headquartered in Tobel, Switzerland, now comprises the brands Santex, Cavitec, Sperotto Rimar, Santex Nonwoven, Jasatech and Thermtech. Synergies across the group have seen the company reposition itself in recent years into a complete systems supplier of machines and plants for: 1. The wet treatment of woven and knitted fabrics. 2. The dry finishing of woven and knitted fabrics. 3. The surface and high-grade finishing of knits and wovens. 4. The manufacture and treatment of nonwovens (thermobonding and drying). 5. Coating, laminating and impregnating plants for industrial textiles. In an exclusive interview, the group's CEO Dr Pierluigi Orsini gave his views on the current state of the global market for textile machinery and Santex strategy in the coming years.
