Monforts has expanded its showroom in Moenchengladbach, Germany, with the inclusion of a Montex TT stenter chamber for technical textiles and its latest energy tower for heat recovery. The showroom provides a testing and demonstration facility for fabric trials under real production conditions for customers. Covering more than 1,000 square metres the newly-extended showroom also includes: 1. A Montex 6500 2.4-metre-wide stenter for drying, heat setting and coating trials with woven and knitting fabrics (with coating device) and a 300 ℃ treatment chamber for special applications. 2. A soft coating device for single or double-sided fabric application with liquors. 3. A two-metre-wide Thermex Hotflue with a Matex padder and VTG infrared pre-dryer for continuous dyeing (with colour metric) and Econtrol fabric trials. 4. A DynAir relaxation dryer and flow through dryer for knitted fabrics in tubes or open widths and for fleeceonwovens.
