Germany's Karl Mayer is to take over the Weaving Preparation Division of Benninger, based in Uzwil, Switzerland. The merger will create a leading international company with an extensive range of products for weaving preparation equipment and machinery and ensure production stays in Europe. All 110 Benninger Weaving Preparation Division employees will join Karl Mayer, which aims to consolidate its worldwide service network by taking on Benninger's service personnel to continue to provide technical support for installed machines worldwide.
