In the current situation, many States in India are facing power crisis due to various factors. Among many industries, textiles is one of the key sectors which requires uninterrupted power to produce high quality yarn. To meet the quality power supply, Cummins has developed various other sources of energy through their gensets. Now, the company is a major player focusing on the textile sector with a market share of around 65 per cent. The 500 kva and 715 kva ranges of gensets are the fast moving products of the company for textile applications mainly in spinning segment. Out of the total sales revenue, around 23 per cent comes from the textile sector.
