MAG Solvics' online single spindle monitoring system

The Coimbatore-based MAG Solvics launched an online single spindle monitoring system named the Spinfo. The online single spindle system detects each and every break in a bobbin and also cites about the reason for the breakage. This helps analyze reasons for the break and take corrective action immediately, leading to higher productivity. An operator just needs to keep a watch on the panel, which indicates where the breakage has happened and attend to it immediately, and does not need to take rounds of the machine intermittently. Mr. CD. Pani, Director of the company, stated that the stall visitors were amazed with the Spinfo and that a customer has even placed a trial order. The company also displayed a high volume of fibre testing equipment, evenness tester and single yarn tester.
