Record-breaking numbers, of exhibitors and trade visitors confirm Shanghai's position as the Asian hub for technical textiles, Exhibitors impressed with quality and professionalism of visitors at Cinte Techtextil China A record-breaking number of trade visitors was counted at Cinle Techtextil China held in Shanghai from 1 - 3 September at INTEX. The heavy rain did not dampen visitors' enthusiasm, and 6,515 trade buyers from 52 countries and regions visited the show; a 25 per cent increase in attendance from last event in 2002. The trade visitors met with 300 exhibitors representing 18 countries and regions, an increase of 40 per cent compared to the previous event. National pavilions from Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and UK confirmed the importance of the Chinese market and this show as its door-opener.
