Visit of India's Textile Minister to Rieter in Winterthur

As part of his European trip, the Indian Textile Minister Mr. Thiru Dayanidhi Maran made a visit to Rieter in Winterthur. During this trip, he took the opportunity to campaign for direct investments and to establish contact with politics and industry.rnOn 26 September 2009, the Indian Textile Minister, Mr. Thiru Dayanidhi Maran, visited Rieter Machine Works Ltd. in Winterthur. Rieter was one of the stops on his trip through Europe, Turkey and Switzerland. The various meetings with political bodies and other associations as well as selected suppliers to India of modern technologies were used by the Minister to enlist support for direct investments in India. He was accompanied by a delegation of Indian politicians, members of various associations and textile industrialists.
