An antimicrobial finish that can be applied without a binder during the exhaust and padding process has been launched by Sanitized AG in the US.rnSanitized Silver is based on silver salt, which has natural antimicrobial properties. When applied as a finish to fabric, the product acts on bacterial cell membranes, preventing their growth and the reproduction of bacteria responsible for unpleasant odours.rnThe company said Sanitized Silver improves wearing comfort of clothing, maintains the feel of soft-touch fabrics and has a high washing resistance of 50 or more wash cycles at 60℃. Performance clothing can also be washed frequently without compromising the antimicrobial benefits, it added.
