IMB 2006 Survey

The year 2006 is a great year for Ger-many, which holds perhaps the world's most popular sporting event, the football World Cup. Just before that, the tri-annual IMB was hosted in Cologne at the Koelnmesse on May 10-13 in the enlarged Congress Centre North. The total exhibitor participation was over 630 from 40 countries, with about two-thirds of them were from outside Germany. By product, they can be grouped under Product Development, Cutting Room, Fusing, Sorting and Stitching Preparation, Stitching, Joining and Fastening Technology, Stitching, Joining and Fastening Materials, Technical Textiles, Product Processing, Energy, Air-conditioning, Disposal, Recycling, Quality Control, Material Flow, Distribution Logistics, E-logistics, E-management, E-business, Retail/IT tools, Media Services and Research and Development.
