BBC unveils Nesbitt drama

Ken MacQuarrie announced a new BBC One crime drama when he gave his Dan Gilbert Memorial Lecture. Bloodlands, starring James Nesbitt as a Northern Irish detective, will be set and filmed in and around Belfast and Strangford Lough. The series is being made by HTM Television, the new drama producer co-owned by Line of Duty creator Jed Mercurio and Hat Trick Productions. Northern Ireland Screen will give funding support.
